Marketing Coordinator

Summary Job Description:
The Marketing Coordinator plays a key support role on the Marketing team, from supporting and executing marketing campaigns to supporting all sponsorship activities with trade association events, maintaining marketing databases and creating and revising graphics for various marketing campaigns or publications. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with product marketing managers and other team members to support product strategies, supports trade association event activity, monitor marketing trends, and ensure brand consistency across the company. The role is ideal for an individual that has a passion for learning marketing, detail-oriented and eager to gain hands-on experience across various marketing tools, platforms, and processes that drive modern marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities: 
Marketing Campaigns and Operations
  • Support product marketing leads to program email campaigns in Marketo, including graphical and message layout 
  • Support the execution and maintenance of email marketing programs in Marketo, including basic campaign setup, program review, and content updates.
  • Use Salesforce and other marketing tools to maintain clean data, approve content subscriptions, and support CRM-related tasks.
  • Support the BID — PCBB’s daily industry newsletter — through article loading, formatting and testing.
  • Monitor operational campaigns to ensure assets stay current and aligned with branding or legal requirements.
Trade Association Marketing
  • Support trade association sponsorship and advertising efforts, including creating graphics for advertising campaigns, repurposing content for association articles, and tracking deliverables.
  • Maintain a quarterly log of published articles across trade associations.
  • Lead the effort to determine the most appropriate sponsorship package for upcoming industry event in consultation with the sales, specialist and CMO, ensuring it is within budget. 
  • Search and secure speaking opportunities for PCBB staff to attend under supervision of CMO.
Brand & Compliance Support
  • Help ensure brand consistency across marketing touchpoints, such as speaker decks, email signatures, and social media content.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure assets meet marketing standards and reflect brand guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Articulate, professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with internal teams.
  • Interest in developing expertise across campaign execution, marketing technology, conference logistics and becoming a product marketing manager.
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Enjoys a variety of marketing tasks, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. 
  • Ability to work independently, yet enjoys working in a fast-paced, team environment and offering ideas during brainstorm sessions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
Tools & Aptitude Requirement
 Must have:
  • Strong acumen in Microsoft products, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience using a CRM system, Salesforce preferred
Nice to have:
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (such as Marketo, HubSpot, etc.). 
  • Familiarity with Adobe product suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) 
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • BS degree in business-related field preferred (marketing, communications)
  • 1-3 years marketing experience
