John F. Cavanaugh has over 30 years of banking experience. In his current role at PCBB, he connects community banks with a comprehensive suite of international payments services to help them enhance their operation efficiency. John initially joined PCBB in 2009 as a Relationship Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region before transitioning to international payments services in 2016.

Prior to joining PCBB, John held similar positions within the correspondent banking space. He began his career in banking trade associations, including the American Bankers Association and the Maryland Bankers Association, where he oversaw membership and federal advocacy efforts.

John is a graduate of Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Wheeling Jesuit University.
