Senior Marketing Specialist

Summary Job Description:
- Support marketing campaigns to drive the growth and expansion of company products and services. Partner with a Marketing Product Strategist to design annual plans for specific products and services and implement selected campaigns.
- Own several recurring content campaigns to deliver timely, relevant messaging (for example, shareholder materials and economic reports) to clients and other stakeholders.
- Support email delivery of our daily newsletter, Banking Insights & Discussion (BID) by using Marketo our marketing automation system, to deliver timely communications to our readers.
- Build and program marketing campaigns in Marketo, including testing and troubleshooting for deliverability and accuracy, conducting A/B tests and other optimization activities, and tracking and reporting final results.
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to identify marketing needs and translate ideas into campaigns that align with the company’s brand and mission.
- Support our corporate customer voice program that gathers customer feedback and tracks brand strength.
- Collaborate with podcast co-hosts to brainstorm episode topics, manage and drive the editorial calendar, source guests, and coordinate logistics.
- Lead post-production activities for podcast episodes, including managing an outside production agency, creating episode summaries, loading content to the podcast hosting platform, sending subscriber notifications, and promoting new episodes.
- Co-lead the social media activities, including planning, content development, scheduling, posting, and monitoring for engagement; may partner with our digital marketing strategist on paid campaigns.
- Assist in developing and writing marketing materials and presentations, including designing graphics for ads, email campaigns, and corporate initiatives.
- Analyze current and historical marketing data to inform and refine overall marketing strategy.
- Help identify, evaluate, and test new marketing tools and processes that streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Plan and manage select in-person marketing events (typically fewer than five per year), including budgeting, logistics, vendor coordination, and post-event follow-up.
- Own the full lifecycle of occasional marketing webinars (<5 per year) from building promotional campaigns and managing registrations to coordinating speakers, hosting and moderating live sessions, and delivering post-event analysis.
- Work with the Chief Marketing Officer to identify and develop areas of specialization (for example, marketing operations, customer experience, social media, or new channels) to provide added value to the marketing team.
- This position will be required to travel on a limited basis, including 1-3 times per year. This will include presence at the annual Sales Meeting, trade conference, team event and/or professional development event

- Strong hands-on experience with marketing automation tools, including building, testing, and optimizing campaigns; Marketo preferred, HubSpot is acceptable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM platform
- Professional-level experience with social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
- Knowledge of lead generation, digital marketing tactics, and campaign optimization.
- Experience with generative AI for driving individual productivity and efficiency.
- BS degree in business-related field (marketing, communications or similar) preferred,
- 3-6 years marketing experience in a B2B environment.
