Project Manager

Reports To: EVP, Chief Solutions Officer
This is a temporary-to-hire position, with performance evaluated after 90 days for potential conversion to a permanent role.
The position is responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager possess strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience in financial services and structured project delivery methodologies.
- Manage projects across various business lines within the financial institution, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Execute all project activities in adherence to the company’s Project Management Policy, methodology, and governance framework.
- Develop and maintain clear project documentation, including project charters, project plans, risk registers, and status reports.
- Facilitate project risk assessments and manage project issues, escalating when necessary.
- Engage and coordinate with stakeholders, including business unit leaders, technology teams, compliance, and risk management groups.
- Ensure project outcomes meet business case objectives and regulatory expectations.
- Conduct regular project reviews, manage change requests, and ensure project deliverables are tracked according to policy guidelines.
- Partner with senior managers and the CSO to improve processes, tools, and reporting.
- Provide timely, accurate updates to executive sponsors and governance committees.
- Adhere to the institution’s Project Management Policy throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Follow standardized project lifecycle processes to ensure consistency and accountability.
- Ensure all project documentation and reporting meet compliance and audit requirements.
- Apply governance controls and escalation procedures consistently to maintain project integrity.
- Embed risk management practices and regulatory considerations into project planning and execution.
- Strong understanding of project management frameworks (PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies).
- Proven ability to follow and enforce project management policies and governance standards.
- Solid organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent).
- PMP, CAPM, or similar certification preferred.
- Strong risk awareness and compliance mindset.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing effectively.
- Collaborative leadership and stakeholder management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience managing cross-functional projects, preferably within banking or financial services.
