Marketing Specialist

Summary Job Description:
The Marketing Specialist is a key team member supporting the Marketing Team on a wide variety of creative marketing campaigns. This person will work with a Marketing Project leader to perform marketing tasks such as creating marketing materials, competitive market research/analysis, podcast planning and production, event planning for both in-person and digital events and executing marketing campaign tasks. This position requires a client-focused and detail-oriented person who has the strong ability to multi-task and generate creative ideas and solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with creating and executing marketing project tasks to support the growth and expansion of company products and services.
  • Work with Marketing Project Lead on a wide variety of demand generation campaigns for PCBB’s products. 
  • Responsible for programming marketing campaigns and subscription content into Marketo, our marketing automation tool, as well as testing and troubleshooting for accuracy and deliverability. 
  • Support measurement and reporting of marketing campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, conversions, ROI) and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (product and sales teams) to align marketing initiatives with product launches and customer communication.
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials, whitepapers, website content and other assets that support product knowledge for lead generation and content that drives AI mentions and citations. 
  • Support the creation and distribution of customer communications that reinforce PCBB’s position as a trusted partner to community banks, ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
  • Work with Marketing team member that leads our podcast, Banking Out Loud, provide podcast planning, topic research, and are involved in the production of the podcast. 
  • Responsible for various tasks including event planning both virtual webinars and possibly in-person events.
  • Working with Chief Marketing Officer, begin to identify skills that you want to specialize in to offer additional value to the marketing team. These could include operational processes, customer experience, social media, new channels and other important skills
Travel Required: 
  •  This position will be required to travel on a limited basis, including 1-3 times per year. This will include presence at the annual Sales Meeting, trade conference, team event and/or professional development event

Tool Aptitude Required:
Must have:
  • Strong acumen in Microsoft products, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  •  Experience using Salesforce CRM platform
  • Experience with Social Media tools on a professional level (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) is nice to have
Nice to have:
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, preferred experience with Marketo
  • Familiarity with Adobe product suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of lead generation and digital marketing
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • BS degree in business-related field preferred (marketing, communications) 
  • 2-3 years’ marketing experience
