Client Data Processing Associate

Salary: $25-$32 per hour
Employment Type: This is a temporary-to-hire position, with performance evaluated after 90 days for potential conversion to a permanent role. The position will begin as a part-time role at 28 hours per week. Hours will be increased upon conversion to permanent employment, subject to business needs and performance.
Description of Job Duties:
The Client Data Processing Associate is a member of the Advisory Services team responsible for processing, validating, reconciling, and preparing client data for final review, reporting, and model-related activities. The role supports accurate, timely, and consistent client processing by ensuring data is received, documented, and handled in accordance with established procedures and client-specific requirements.
The Associate works closely with internal team members to obtain information, confirm balances, investigate discrepancies, resolve routine data-processing and application issues, and prepare materials for final quality review. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication skills, proficiency with data files and web-based applications, and the ability to follow documented procedures and quality-control standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process, validate, reconcile, and prepare client data files for final review, reporting, and model-related activities.
  • Review client data for completeness, accuracy, formatting, balance consistency, and compliance with documented processing requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal team members to obtain missing information, confirm balances, clarify data questions, and resolve routine processing exceptions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve introductory to moderately complex application and data-related issues, escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, processing records, client communications, checklists, issue logs, and status tracking.
  • Process data, perform reconciliations, run models and prepare reports for final quality review.
  • Follow documented procedures, client-specific instructions, quality-control standards, data-security requirements, and established service-level expectations.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance data quality, processing consistency, client service, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain current knowledge of supported applications, internal procedures, and applicable regulatory guidance.
Education/Skills/Experience:
  • Basic familiarity with FASB and regulatory expectation regarding CECL/ALLL, relationship profitability and loan portfolio stress testing
  • Experience supporting complex accounting or other financial systems.
  • Experience Providing superior client service in technical help desk or accounting environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of client management
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and organize qualitative and quantitative data for senior review
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field or equivalent experience preferred
  •  2-3 years working experience in operating financial models 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; SQL or MySQL experience preferred
  • Banking or Credit Union experience a plus
