Salary: Minimum Wage- $20 an hour

This internship will give you hands‑on experience applying AI tools and frameworks to real banking use cases, including chatbot evaluation and financial risk/process automation. You will lead two core projects from discovery through recommendations or prototype, giving you ownership, visibility, and exposure to senior leaders.
Description of Job Duties:
We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical, and curious intern with a strong interest in AI, software tools, and structured research. While you do not need to be a professional software engineer, you should be comfortable with technical concepts, experimenting with AI platforms to build an AI agent or app generated by AI, and researching various technology options for the Marketing team.  Besides these two main projects, you might have the chance to contribute to other Marketing tasks that fit in between these two projects.
1.    Research new chatbot vendor
  • Interview marketing team member to identify our current and future needs for a website chatbot (use cases, compliance considerations, security, integrations, and support model).
  • Research and compare chatbot vendors and platforms using vendor documentation, requesting vendor demos, and gathering customer reviews.
  • Prepare a structured comparison (e.g., matrix or scorecard) that compares the various vendor’s chatbot features, ease of integration, data privacy/security controls, analytics and reporting, customization capabilities, training options, and overall cost/value.
  • Setup and run a trial version of the Chatbot(s) in a sandbox environment.
  • Make a recommendation supported by all the facts and evidence.
2.    Develop an AI Agent a Marketing deliverable easily
  • Interview marketing team members about our deliverable that we would like to use AI to generate each month. Focus on current and future needs for this report, document the process, what data is used or want to use in the future, what the report deliverable looks like.
  • Utilize AI tools (e.g., code‑generation assistants, low‑code/no‑code AI agents, prompt‑based “copilots”) that will create an AI-agent (low code or no code) to design a prototype of an AI Agent that can be activated each month easily and reliably.
  •  Document the Agent’s design, assumptions, workflow, and risks, and provide guidance for how PCBB could maintain and enhance it after the internship ends.
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Preference to college student working toward a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative or technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with AI tools, chatbots, or AI powered assistants; experience experimenting with platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Comfort reading and, ideally, writing basic code or scripts (Python, JavaScript, or another language) or using low code/no code automation tools is a plus.
  • Strong research skills: ability to find and digest technical documentation, compare multiple solutions, and synthesize findings into concise recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
Benefits
  • Paid internship
  • Opportunity to learn more about Marketing and the technology that this team utilizes
  • Chance to learn and grow in your career
  • Casual and fun work environment
  • Opportunities to meet with Senior Leadership in a weekly setting for the opportunity to learn more about banking and technology industry
