Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist role is responsible for the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives, including digital entities, data and optimization. This position will focus on optimizing our website and landing page, running our PPC efforts, creating videos, and working with our marketing automation system, Marketo, and Google to track ROI on campaigns. This position will also be involved in other marketing projects from time to time, as the marketing team works as a whole when new opportunities arise. The position will have a combination of solo focused projects and team projects.

Responsibilities:
Website/ Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Play a critical role in providing technical analysis of web traffic, proactive monitoring and reporting of actionable insights on web/campaign performance with the goal of improving user experience, optimizing for search engine performance and improving results
  • Working with our UI/UX designer, assist in developing and implementing content and SEO strategies that will increase online presence and drive organic growth
  • Create, manage, and experiment with landing pages, and targeting to optimize overall conversion and CTR
  • Develop, implement and maintain proprietary website analytics dashboard to monitor website traffic, engagement and conversions
  • Coordinate with Marketing’s Social Media Leader to collaborate on social advertising campaigns. Coordinate with Marketing Content Writer when content is needed. 
Paid Advertising
  • Manage ads on Google to drive lead generation; Work with Social Media Team Leader to optimize advertising on LinkedIn. 
  • Assist in developing annual digital advertising plan by identifying most effective opportunities for digital advertising in our space such as: PPC, retargeting, geo-targeting and targeted campaigns including social media 
  • Compile and report on all relevant ad campaign metrics
  • Monitor targeted keyword performance and traffic as appropriate
Video Production
  • Responsible for video production and repackaging video content into multiple marketing assets
  • Collaborate with Podcast Leader and own the video production, inventory of equipment, training of hosts and guests, and advising on best practices to capture compelling podcast content.
  • Develop GTM marketing programs that influence pipeline revenue and velocity  
  • Partner with Product Marketing Leader to translate the product messaging and value propositions into video format
  • Own our corporate YouTube channel and optimize product positioning. 
Skills Required:
  • Experience managing ads on Google Ads
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and meet project deadlines
  • Strong analytical and creative capabilities to improve and assess marketing campaign effectiveness
  • Able to complete multiple projects, under tight deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Creative thinker and open to trying new things
Tool & Aptitude Required:

Must have:
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong working knowledge of video producing and photo editing software, such as Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere or Vegas Pro.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google tools, including Google Analytics (including G4), Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Sheets, and Google Data Studio
Nice to have:
  • Experience with Marketo marketing automation 
Education Requirements:
  •  3+ years of experience in a similar role, executing digital marketing, SEO, PPC, lead generation and/or integrated marketing programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
